🌟 Bringing Warmth to Chucalezna's School: A Heartwarming Story 🌟

We are delighted to share the story of our recent initiative that has brought warmth and comfort to the children of a rural school in Chucalezna, Uquia, Humahuaca. In June 2025, amidst the cold of winter, we successfully donated seven electric heaters to the school, ensuring that the children can focus on learning without the distraction of freezing temperatures. 🏫❄️

A Timely Intervention 🕰️

The harsh winter months in this high-altitude region of the Andes can be tough, with night temperatures often dipping below freezing. The average daytime highs range from 17-20°C (63-68°F), while nights can get as cold as 0-4°C (32-40°F), making frost a common occurrence. This dry, chilly climate makes heating essential for comfort and productivity.

Speaking with the school principal, we learned that despite the children arriving bundled in jackets, their hands were too cold to even hold a pencil. This situation highlighted the urgent need for heating solutions.

Impact of Our Donation 🔥

Our donation of electric heaters has had an immediate and positive impact:

  • Enhanced Learning Environment: Classrooms are now warm and conducive to learning.

  • Improved Well-being: Students can focus on their studies without the discomfort of cold.

  • Community Support: The donation has strengthened our bond with the local community.

Steps We Took to Make This Happen ✅

  1. Assess Needs: Engaged with the school to understand their requirements.

  2. Source Equipment: Selected reliable heaters suitable for the school's needs.

  3. Deliver and Install: Ensured timely delivery and installation of the heaters.

Looking Ahead 🌈

This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting education and well-being in communities that need it most. As we continue our efforts, we are motivated by the positive changes we can bring with your support.
